Acknowledgements
This book is composed of several discourses given in
Philadelphia during February of 1980 by M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, may
God be pleased with him. These talks were given in Tamil,
an ancient Dravidian language spoken in parts of India
and Sri Lanka, and translated into English by Professor
Ajwad Macan Markar, Dr. M.Z. Markar, Dr. K. Ganesan,
and Mrs. Crisi Beutler.
The entire production of this book from preparing the
manuscript to the printing and binding was accomplished
through volunteer work. Many members of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen
Fellowship gave their time, energy, skills, and financial
support to make the wisdom of these words available
for anyone who may be in need of their comfort.
