Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) tells us: “The work of truth, the work of the world, and the work of wisdom is life. This is a map for your life…I am simply giving you the map. If you keep the map carefully, you can look at it and then proceed… You can see the lands to which you must go and know what you need to do there…keep asking wisdom for directions as you proceed. Ask wisdom and go…This map belongs to everyone. It is a map for those who have been born as human beings.”
Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) further explains, “The map of the Guru’s words will take you to the place where God, the Guru, and you become one. That is what it will show you…As the words emerge from the Guru, the heart must be ready to catch and hold onto each word…Take a photo of the words he gives with faith, certitude, and determination. That light, that map will take you to your destination.”
