As-salāmu ‘alaikum, dear Brothers and Sisters,
Ramadān Mubarak!
May Almighty Allāh send down His grace into every heart of every one of His creations during the blessed month of Ramadān and always, so we can increasingly focus on His qualities and actions in our lives. May Allāh’s rahmah be the rizq that continues to nurture these qualities and actions in this world and the hereafter. We have been told that the gates of hell are locked and the gates of paradise are wide open during this beautiful month of restraint. May we act accordingly so this paradise of restraint can come to us in completion through His grace.
In shā’Allāh:
- The blessed Month of Ramadan begins Tuesday, April 13 after Maghrib.
- The first day of fasting will be Wednesday, April 14.
- All Ramadān events will be broadcast at Fellowship Live on bmf.org/shoutcast.
- Lailatul-Qadr, the Night of Power, will be observed with a dhikr after tarāwih prayers May 9 in the Mosque of Shaikh M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen,
- ‘Īdul-fitr, khutbah, and salāh will almost certainly be observed on the morning of May 13. The takbīr will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the ‘īd salāh and khutbah following at 9:15 a.m.
- We will have tents set up for overflow during prayers at the mosque so we can maintain safe distancing.
- A weekly drive-thru kanji distribution will be hosted every Saturday afternoon during Ramadān from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Details to follow.
Please note: unfortunately, no food can be served and no ‘īd gifts can be distributed because the Fellowship house is still closed to the public.
The Mosque Trustees ask you to kindly wear masks and to safe distance at all times on Fellowship property.
